Classes
Lessons are taught at the beginner/intermediate levels for students ages 5 thru adult.
Each weekly keyboard lesson lasts 45 minutes (or between 30-45 minutes) and weekly voice lessons last 30 minutes (or between 15-30 minutes) for students ages 6 thru 14 based on ability and attentiveness.
Curriculum
The KEYBOARD CLASS curriculum includes the Alfred Piano Series along with supplemental materials including games and crafts to reinforce learning. The curriculum will stress the following concepts:
~ Theory ~ Ear Training ~ Sight Reading ~ Ensemble ~Technique ~ Rhythm Drills ~ Composition/Improvisation ~
Intermediate and advanced students will also receive instruction in the genres of R&B, Christian, Jazz, Gospel and more.
